Colleges and SIGs
A PMI College is a knowledge-based component that focuses on an application area or a specific body of knowledge of project management, which it continues to develop and make fully accessible to the profession. College membership is worldwide and gives PMI members the opportunity to network with peers with similar interests. Colleges provide a forum for project managers to share experiences and knowledge with others managing similar types of projects and facing the same project management challenges and concerns.
- If you are already a PMI member, you can join a College (and pay the membership fee) online at https://secure.pmi.org/edit/. Just log in with your current member information and choose "Select Transaction." Next, click on "Add a Component." Then, click on "Continue" and click on "Continue" again. You will now see the list of chartered Colleges.
- For more information, check out the College page on the PMI Headquarters web site at www.pmi.org/prod/groups/public/documents/info/gmc_collegesoverview.asp.
